Alongside Masquerade exhibition, OSTILLO presents a public lecture series led by art historian Dr. Jean Capeille, Director of Exhibitions, exploring the relationship between art history and modern entertainment.
Drawing on Capeille’s doctoral research on American vaudeville, the series examines how artistic practices intersect with traditions of spectacle throughout the 20th century.
Each lecture concludes with a guided tour of the exhibition, giving participants the opportunity to engage more directly with its themes.
Lectures take place monthly from October through June. Sessions are independent and may be attended individually, with no prior participation required.
